be inspired.
—Joe McCool
Welcome to this informational site for the online M.A. in Organizational Leadership at Gonzaga University. I am the chairperson of the Department of Organizational Leadership and a proud alumnus, having also taught in the program for many years.
I am honored to be able to administer and teach in a program that provides such unique leadership education and development to individuals from diverse backgrounds and locations.
At graduation ceremonies on campus each May, I hear from our graduates how transformative their course of studies have been for them, both professionally and personally. The master of arts in organizational leadership these students earn represents the attainment of our program goals for them as scholars and leaders: to see clearly, respond ethically, and serve willingly.
In the midst of organizational and societal problems, I remain optimistic because I believe that our graduates will transform the world for the better because they have done the work to transform themselves.
I know that I am a part of a community of learning that is making a difference. I invite you to become a part of that community as well.
Sincerely,
Joseph F. Albert
