The Gonzaga University online RN to MSN (Master of Science in Nursing) program is designed for registered nurses with an associate's degree in nursing (ADN) who want to earn an advanced nursing degree. An MSN can open up new career opportunities for nurses interested in management or specialized nursing positions—and with this accelerated program, you’ll earn your master’s degree much faster than you would earning your bachelor’s and master’s separately.
This bridge program is designed to prepare you for graduate-level work and to succeed in fulfilling the demands and responsibilities of advanced roles in nursing. You will study major research methods, systemic approaches to improving healthcare and patient outcomes, and leadership topics to develop professional and management skills.

A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is not required, but students who do hold a BSN can complete the program in just 36 credit hours. Other unique benefits of Gonzaga’s program include a rolling admissions calendar, support to enhance writing skills, and the ability to transfer up to 20 percent of existing undergraduate or graduate credits (not including credits from a prior degree).
The RN to MSN program is made up of 30 credits in the undergraduate-level division and a minimum of 36 credits in the graduate-level portion, for a total minimum of 66 semester hours. Students may transfer up to 20 percent of existing undergraduate or graduate credits (not including credits from a prior degree).
